Because $800 for a 40" light bar is fracking ridiculous. LEDWarehouse offers warranties at their prices and I've dealt with them with questions and support; great people and great support:

You get what you pay for. Those $200 light bars give you the look at an affordable price but I bet they won't last like they should on an offroad rig that's exposed to the elements a lot not just mall crawling around town. I had an amazon one and it went about a month before water leaked into the lense during monsoon season.

The cheaper ones are made of cheaper parts so they are not as bright and are rated ip67,When it comes to a ip rating ip67 is water resistance which can fog up.The good ones are ip68 which is water proof.
