If you didn't have coverage for uninsured not much reason to wait any longer nobody will, it's all you.

Hopefully you can get enough to cover your losses and hopefully that guy ends up in jail for his other offenses so this kind of thing doesn't keep happening to others.

No word on the situation, No clue where the guy is at either. He might be in Texas where his plates were from. Honestly no clue on the situation and i have yet to contact my lawyer again. Dealing with a family issue right now and work and its my last priority might just keep my jeep as if i dont get the money from the accident i will never be able to sell it and get my money out of it. Its gonna drag out.

Got a court summons the other day, Turns out he is trying to fight the ticket. My guess is he is buying time and my guess is he will plea out before the court date.

That gentleman is insufferable. Hit and run is frustrating enough.

Loathe to recommend it, but one almost feels compelled to form up the Abraham Lincoln vigilante baseball bat brigade, and teach him the meaning of freedom.

But we're not like that.

Ended up not having to appear. They passed it onto that state attorney and prosecuted him on Wednesday for his other charges along with the hit and run. No clue on his other charges

The system grinds slowly, but one hopes it grinds thoroughly.

I feel your pain. My brother just got hit by some dude in a parking lot who booked it after it happened. All he got was the plate number off the car. It turned out to be a stolen plate off some SUV from up north. I am guessing the car was stolen too. So he got nothing out of the deal. I wish you better luck!

If I thought he had a job or money to pay me I would go after him but with the jail time and fines he is getting I doubt he will have any money.
