Actually thats one point of being locked.
If you have open diffs and you lift a tire off the ground its going to be the one spinning freely.
If your locked the other tire will spin, and in theory, give some traction. Usually not all 4 wheels are off, unless your high centered.

You're more apt to keep 4 tires on the ground with long arms than you are with short arms. Three wheeling may make for a great poser pic, but it serves go real purpose.
A rig with long arms is far more capable and comfortable to drive/ride it than a short armed rig. Drop brackets make a difference, but the OP did ask about those.
Lockers front and rear with long arms up front....best of both worlds.

Id rather put drop bracket money towards long arms. That's gonna be my choice, 1st long arms, and if money allows, locker.
I already know which locker I would like to get... Which long arms? I read a lot here about IRO 3 link, but is 3 link good for on road?

Yes, I need the upgrade. As if now I have RC 4.5 coils w/1.5 spacer. Removing it all for a 5.5 coil. Adj T bar and drop bracket, drop Pitman and the extended lines from RC. Just need the long arm upgrade, right?
