yea i did get very lucky that i didn't bend a connecting rod. but in his situation he sounds like his motor will be alright. at least its trying to turn over mine was actually locked it would even turn over when i tryed to started it.

My GF hydrolocked her BMW in a huge rainstorm last year.

Bent 3 valves and a rod. It turned over fine and would even try to start.

Don't think that simply because it spins nothing is bent/broken/damaged.

Good News! I changed the plug wires and it fired up after being left down in a creek overnight. So relieved, but i knew the whole time shed never let me down!

Heat the spark plug in fire. Don't burn it just heat it.
