you're running 34's man the JK axles sound sweet, not much building involved though.

if you're going for a ford 3/4 ton front you'll be 8 lug so you're going to have to go with a D60 rear to match. very common swap

The tj rubicon dana 44 is not a true 44 tho,Its a dana 30 with a dana 44 center still has the same weak places the 30 has like the tubes and c's.I would run jk rubicon 44s if i found a set at a good price. But like said the money it cost to swap any axle i would go 1 tons and be done with it.

Another option is a waggy Dana 44 front with Isuzu 44 in rear. Both have matching 6 lug pattern

The waggy axle you want 80-81 or 85-92 the 82-84 had the crappy cad system but its easy to spot with a vacuum line going to the difff.

Hard to get those, not really a fan of tearing an axle out of a waggy either, unless its total junk

if u don't take them out of waggies at the junkyard. Either someone else would or the entire vehicle get crushed with all good stuff in it.

What I got sitting in the garage haha. '93 2500 14b, don't worry it has drums behind hubs haha. My next build will be a trail rig that I don't have to worry about driving home after wheeling.

I agree though if you have to ask what axle then you're not ready for wontons.

I just finished my DD build with hp30 and an 8.8, both solid axles for a 33-35". And Fred as well as many others on here do well with even the 8.25 on 35's. I say keep it simple.

But a 3/4 ton has a semi float 14 bolt not a full float.
