Looking for a new ride
Hi, I'm new to the Cherokee Forums and thinking of getting a Cherokee. I would like to get some opinions on several matters...
How many miles can one expect to get out of a regularly serviced 4.0?
Can I also expect the same mileage from the AW4 tranny?
What year models are most sought after?
Lastly, with lots of Chero's available with over 100K miles, is it generally safe to assume the vehicle will be reliable for quite some time or, will I be sinking alot of money into it for repairs and maintenance?
Thanks for any help in advance.

1 - With regular service the 4.0l will last a very long time (Mine has 240,000 on it and is still ticking)
2 - Yes
3 - 91-99 is a safe bet for a great xj
4 - I would consider a xj/mj with 100,000 miles to be "low mileage", but it all depends on how the PO treated it.
