He got rid of the escort. He's got a miata for auto-x, and something else. I haven't talked to him in a month. :/

About how I'm sure you figured. I should be the first to say after spending about a week and a half more into this I did find the error of my ways and find that there is simply no way to cheaply do this, For an OBDII anyway. Electrically tuning wise, parts wise it would've cost me minus the stand alone and the wide band....$600. Had this figured out but did not have the money to reflash my computer or get the standalone to make it manage my fuel so I didnt burn a hole in my pistons from running to lean. Shortly after ordering a few things and getting them on the jeep I planned on keeping was either going to be taken from me and crushed or taken off the road so I had no choice but to sell it. It has been replaced with two since then. I put my money more towards something that was IMO now more worth my time. So to end my rant, its not coming. Threads dead until I can find a standalone for cheap.

S/C is going to take more work due to the intake manifold. It's easier to make a turbo manifold.

Can you not do it with a piggy back? I see those for about $350.

How do you like it? Is it as advertised? I've been looking at that that kit too and want to know if its worth it or not.

I personally love the hardware. It's all beautifully made and fits like a glove.

Is it worth 4k + install + and other stuff to you? If not, then no.

For me, the kit plus all the other stuff I added in addition to the kit cost quite a bit more than my Jeep did... But it was more than worth it for the time I got to spend with my dad working on it. And I get to enjoy it every single day. Imho, you can't put a price on that.

Yea that kit alone would be twice the amount I paid for my jeep lol but I am glad to hear some good feedback on it. What else did you have to add? New fuel pump and maybe bored throttle body? I'm trying to get an idea of everything before I do it.
