This is a great mod for sure. My lights are much brighter, going to aim them down just a bit since getting flashed couple time while running on dims. Used the Putco harness, IPF bodies and fatboy II bulbs. Installation was easy. Went ahead and rattle canned my grill and headlight covers since mine were getting pretty gray...

Does anyone have this harness from lmc truck and how has it held up? or know where we can buy a better one than the Putco harness on amazon?

Only problem I've had with my PUTCO was one relay that intermittently didn't want to close. I still keep it as a spare. There are plenty of these harnesses in use with no problems at all. Proper installation,as with any harness,is going to be the key. Down to bare metal grounds, clean connector contacts, and dielectric grease in the connectors is critical.

I have a question ?????
so just were does it plug into main harness ? It show on the instructions but I can't find a connection to fit the plug on new harness. Maybe I got the wrong harness?
Thanks
Thanks

Passenger side of the PUTCO harness should have a male and female connector. The PUTCO female is for the headlight and the PUTCO male connector plugs into the passenger side oem female headlight connector.

OK now I got it but............
Thanks for clearing that up for me but I keep reading about a lot of trouble with the relays. I wonder if NAPA has anything that would help. I mean I can't see fixing one problem with another problem. Hope someone finds a fix for the relays.

Alot of trouble with relays? Not really. I'm still using one of the originals and keep the other as a spare. R4136 They don't fit the PUTCO bracket though. Make sure you mount the relays top up so water can't get in them.

upgrade my upgrade!!
I took all the connectors apart and soldered them. I took the two eyelets for the battery connection off and used one made with heavier metal. Looks like kinda small gauge wiring for what it's going to be used for. If it gives me a lot of trouble I will just copy it using heavier gauge wire. It uses 30 amp relays so I will use 30amp fuses.

Here's a pic to make sure. You can get them at your local auto parts stores.
