Well, I told you I would write some stuff about renix, but Im tired and have a long day tomorrow. Ill write some stuff for you when I get a chance tomorrow.
All you really need to know is that Renix is Pre-OBD, there are no Check Engine Lights or "Codes" everything can be checked with a multimeter and some time. Theyre quite easy to work on, you just have to do a little thinking for yourself.

Judging by the Valve Cover, oil fill cap, dipstick handle and some other stuff, im pretty sure its a HO. Dont quote me on it though, all that stuff can be put on an older motor (though I see no point).
Another way to tell, what way is your oil filter mounted? It is this way on a Renix:
but on a HO it is horizontal right above the starter.

Common practice for putting a HO engine in a Renix is to use the Renix manifolds.

but the way i can tell is by the throttle body...
my buddie just got a renix...i hate it haha. everythin is sooo different...
with the TB...does it have one of those air bypass sevo things in it? cause it idles low..and i think i godda soak the TB in some sea foam...it also seems that there is a vacuum line that was broken...so i clogged it up to stop the vacuum leak...still idles low..i think that vacuum line went to the back of the air filter...as an idle air possibly?
