Not sure where else to put this so it's going here.

My trans drain plug is some goofy square thing, it looks like the kind you should be able to just put the end of a ratchet in and take the drain plug out. Well it turns out that it is smaller than a 1/2" ratchet and larger than a 3/8".

I found my solution while at home depot...or an idea for a solution, I am still working on putting it all together.

I bought a 1/2" metal pipe plug (has the square **** sticking out) I plan on grinding that down to where it fits in that square hole and having it tack welded to a rod or something, maybe a big screwdriver or set of vice grips. (something cheep or free)

Once I get it out of there I can see about getting a replacement plug that is a normal hex head, or 3/8" square at the very least.


Ill let ya know how it turns out lol.
