Mythbusters Enjoys Slaughtering XJs
Was watching the previews for today's episodes and saw that they were crashing Cherokees while testing a myth from Hellboy.
I know they crashed a lot in a previous episode this season too (surfboard-through-window myth)
This is really saddening..

I enjoyed every minute of that one. It was as if they had read the threads on this forum from the last show and said, "Hey guys! You think that was bad, hold my beer and watch this!"
(As an aside, the f'ing POTUS needs to get his damned *** off my favorite show. Let's beat a completely busted horse into the ground for a third bloody time. Moron.)
Since I don't think any of them were running, they were probably all junkyard victims of Cash for Clunkers. Blame stupid political pandering for their destruction.
And if you really want a show that actually trashed cars that are worth something; Look no further than the original Dukes of Hazzard. Most of the 69 Charger's they destroyed were rust free Arizona and New Mexico cars. That was an actual automotive tragedy.

This is actually true. They get them from junk yards and remove the engine and all fluids. Notice how nothing came out eh bottom when they were smashed on the hood - no fluids, parts...nothing. They've already been scrapped. Still a shame to see good body panels go to waste though.
