So your willing to risk you header panel, front bumper (the wrangler going over your bumper and crunching your header) or take the chance of him damaging his Rubicon and filing a BS claim against you for damages. So if you do this what does it prove in this dick wagging contest? Blow it off and just keep reminding him of his payments on a depreciating vehicle while you have a vehicle that's a great slate for improvement. Remind him real jeeps have straight sixes.

According to the 200 Jeep Book, he has 195 hp. But it's irrelevant. If the Rubi guy knows what he's doing he'll win. But I don't think there's much danger of tearing up a t-case. The extra deep gearing will give the JK the advantage unfortunately even though it is a 3.8 Minivan-Motor.

The only reason why I brought up the transfer case is if he has it in 4lo on pavement going against a vehicle that can lock both axles and the cherokee driver does not know when to give up, something is gonna break.

Yeah, I think the whole thing will come down to driver skill. How much the Rubi owner knows about his Jeep and how far the XJ owner is willing to take it...

Just tell your manager to level the field. Drop 5k in your jeep and you could not only whoop his *** but you would have a nice DD/trail rig. Unlike his 15k road princess. Most JK owners won't dare risk scratching their paint or banging a fender. Most, not all. But bottom line is he has way more money wrapped up in his than you do... Tell him to come talk to you when his minivan motor breaks 200k miles...lol
