its in the hatch... did you remove the rear panel yet... is your Jeep a base model?

Here are my wires in my 94 country.

Pass side is blue/orange and blue/white

Driver side is black/blue and black/yellow

All wires come from drivers side.

I got 6 1/2s in the back but you'd have to cut to fit with 6x9.

you must have a base model... or check under your head liner... the speaker wire can be under there 2...

In the rear on the passenger side, remove the side lining where the open space is just before the rear hatch. Check to see if there is speaker wiring connection from the front just hanging there. I wanted rear speakers on my 99. I went to the J/Y and got the wiring off a sound bar. I removed the above and there was the connction from the front. I hooked the connections together and was in business.
