Need some Jeep Stories...
For those that are unaware, my real job in life is working for a classic rock radio station, hosting the afternoon show. My love of Jeeps is known to my listeners, and a local Jeep dealer wants to sponsor a bit where I just talk about the "Jeep lifestyle", if I know what that is, and all things Jeep. They want stories of Jeeps doing "Jeep things" and stuff like that.
I'm going to call it, "The Because Jeep Minute" and want to tell stories that can be ended with the phrase, "Because Jeep"
An example might be something like... When I got to work, the snow plow guy had pushed all of the snow in to a few of the parking spots that were open at the time... by the time I got there, all of the other spots had been taken. Rather than parking in a different lot, I just pulled my Jeep up on to the pile of snow and parked on top. When my boss came out later and asked why I parked on top of the snow pile, I said, "Because Jeep!"
So, if you've got any cool "because Jeep" stories, I'd love to hear about them and maybe feature them in an upcoming Because Jeep Minute.

Rolled my 86 CJ one night going to see some girl. Driving on I 196, hit a patch of ice as I was trying to exit. Rolled, I think three times, blew the tires of the rims. Walked up the off ramp and called for a tow truck. When I got back to the Jeep, I was able to inspect it; damage to the hard top and the hinges where the hatch connects, nothing else I could see. Jeep fired right up and I limped it to the bank of the off ramp. Tow truck driver took it to his shop, reseated the tires and I drove it to a friends house where I passed out on his couch for the next three days instead of going to the hospital.

One time I went on a trail ride with 2 Fords and a Chevy. All of them had bigger tires, and more ground clearance but I was the only one who didn't get stuck, even when I had to pull every one of them out more than once. The reason I didn't get stuck is "Because jeep".

I played hooky at work the Friday before last because there was a good snow in the Laguna Mountain area near San Diego. Drove out there and found a park where the access road wasn't plowed. Drove right down the snow-covered road into the parking lot and my wife, dog, and myself all got the entire park to ourselves because Jeep!
Saw an older 2wd Tacoma attempt to get down to the park but had to turn back when things got too slick. Gotta love going places other people can't!

The last big snowfall in November, I was taking a short-cut through a residential area and came upon a UPS truck that was good and stuck, he had side-slipped into a street gutter and had an open differential in the rear. Apparently UPS does not equip their drivers with snow chains, and instead of getting a tow-truck out there, they literally went to u-haul and rented one of those large delivery vans.
Well, I arrive on scene and half the neighborhood was out there trying to pull him out. There was a brand new 2012+ Wrangler "X" and an older 2000's F250 sitting there idling.
Of course I hop out and say "why don't we just yank that sucker out with some tow straps"?
Both of the other guys say "dont bother, we already tried several times". Both of them had some standard all-seasons on. Well, I looked at the Wrangler and thought "it has a mini-van motor so I assume it tried as hard as it could", looked at the F250 and realized it was a gasser - so basically a nutless wonder with some bald no-name tires on it.
Jumped out, hooked up to the UPS truck, threw it in 4-lo, and walked it out like it wasn't even attached.
He had been stuck for about 2 hours at that point.
Grabber AT2's in about 8" of powder, on a 10* slope. Open Diffs on my rig.
