I started another thread about this but i got told it needs to move to chat.. so here we go..

Im looking at puttin a aftermarket bumper on my '95 XJ. But i want some of yalls opinions on what i should do. Nothin fancy i would just like a good bar bumper. My buddies a hell of a welder and fabricator so we are lookin to throw one together. I was thinkin maybe one like the Alienpro bumpers? theyve kind of always caught my eye.. whatd yall think?

i like the tube bumpers by far but i figured itd be a good idea to get some other wheelers opinions before getting to it. Especially you XJ guys like me. yall always got some good ideas..

I say sit down with a drawing pad or photo shop.
Me personally I like a lot of clearance on the corners. But I'm constantly changing it after I wheel for improvements. I don't like stuff sticking out to far.
But I like tube stingers. I've seen them correct a bad situation.

 

yeaah the tube bumpers are probably what im going to go with. we think the same, I like clearance. So ill just have to adjust as i go.
