I just picked up a 1979 Cherokee Chief (as in a few hours ago) and I already love it. Has the 360 in it and body looks immaculate. There is just a few things that I have questions about. And Im by no means new to the Jeep world. I also have a TJ that really needs a break from being my daily driver.

 

I hate to tell you this, but this forum is dedicated to the 1984-01 XJ platform Cherokee. But feel free to post pictures of your 79.

I think it's sad that you would bring that up. Isn't this Cherokee Forum? I don't see the name as XJ Forum.

You can't look at this and tell me this isn't a badass Cherokee. Once I get it built up, it will be unstoppable.

 

I'm not saying your rig isn't cool, because it looks to be an awesome full size Jeep. I'm sure there are a lot of people on the forum that would love to own one just like it, but you may not find there to be much advice for your Jeep on this forum. Welcome to the forum and stick around, there is a lot of good entertainment here.

You might have better luck on http://www.ifsja.org/index.html and http://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/ both are the full size jeeps,This forum is mostly the small xj cherokees.
