Default new instrument cluster

so i was reading around on the internet about swapping out my instrument cluster with the large speedometer and gas guage with the idiot lights to that cluster with tach and all the other gauges i looked up you need to get a new oil pressure sending unit and coolant temperature sending unit. How many others have done this and do i need to get the sending unit from a specific year of cherokee or could i get new sending units from a 92 like mine? One last thing how accurate are the gauges after you swap from the one with idiot lights to gauges im mostly concerned about the gas gauge if it will stay accurate.
