You know you drive an Xj when you get mad at the guy working the counter at the auto parts store because he selected "Grand Cherokee" from the menu. What an insult.......
You know you drive an Xj when somebody asks you what's done to your Jeep and your response is "a lot" because otherwise you would be there for hours.

Daughter drives an XJ
You know your daughter drives an XJ: When your 17 year old daughter tortures you for a Jeep Wrangler. You agree to a safety compromise and buy her a XJ for her first car. She is thrilled with a huge grin.
Now I spend every free moment thinking about what I am going to do to it. And my wife says I am less stressed about work and don't sit on the couch and think MORE about work.
I wake up at 4AM not thinking about the office but of that XJ.
I spend a Saturday morning up to my elbows in Oil Adapter Hell with a smile on my face. And I'm not thinking about the office.
I spend my lunch hour going to junk yards like I'm 17 again.
I now cruise the web for my own XJ. Because my daughter won't let me lift hers. And she just made me start looking for PINK seat covers. I think to stop me from driving it!

YKYDAXJW your street tires make you sad, not because they don't do as good off road, but because you have to resist the urge to drive over everything. In a perfect world, all tires would have indestructible reinforced 3 ply sidewalls.

When your really tired on your way home, and just want to lay down for a bit. But then you see a pile of rocks and this happens despite how tired you are-
And you held off on that lying down just to post this...
Oh yea- and before anyone starts posting "Why didn't you air down?!" I was ON MY WAY HOME, not wheeling.

you know you drive an xj when the rocks flying out of your tires hits the under carrage and you think to yourself, "i hope that wasn't anything important!"

when you are using a 1/2 Allen wrench to trying to take off you seat belt off the back piller...and you don't have enough leverage...so you create a braker bar for an Allen wrench with a socket and an extension and the Allen wrench at the end lol

Haha.... My driveway is dirt and when it rains it turns to mud and packs in between the lugs of my tires. When I leave for work in the morning my tires shoot mud chunks a good 50 feet in the air. A lot of times chunks will actually fly up and pass me as I'm driving down my road. Sounds pretty awesome too.... And it gives me a chance to test out how quick the lugs on my tires evacuate.

Haha yup.
When the area behind your seats is full of empty quarts of oil, empty gear oil bottles, empty power steering quarts, empty "confidence sodas" and all the parts that have fallen off.
