You know you drive an XJ when you take an hour to wash the undercarriage, 30 minutes to wash the engine, and 30 minutes to wash the rest.

spray straight down the throttle body... should be fine. haha

if you spray the engine and make sure to avoid the distributor all else should be fine if your seals on the electrical connectors are still good.

Damnit, neeland, give me your bumper!!!

YKYDAXJW you don't have a tape measure at the JY, so you use the three measurements you know of your hand to see if parts fit.
Index finger knuckle to tip: 3"
Thumb tip to wrist bone: 5"
Middle finger tip to center of wrist: 8"

How do you put disc brakes on....... Wrong?? They only go on one way.... Kinda idiot proof as long as you know how to turn a wrench. One more example of why my rig has NEVER been in a shop.

YKYDAXJW your mood on any given day depends on how your Xj runs when you fire it up that morning.

I'm pretty sure that blonde saw you and took advantage, assuming she was an employee lol

So true. When mine starts on the first try (any time), I get a huge smile...and then a lot of jeers from my passengers due to my reaction.

Mine ALWAYS starts, just has a knock that likes to come and go. My timing advances and retards itself whenever it wants to.... Even when I'm in the middle of driving, which makes the slight knock it has either go away one day or sound like it's going to throw a rod the next. I can literally drive down the street, hit a bump, and the timing will drastically change which will either make it feel like I hit an invisible wall or hit boost. You can hear the exhaust note change and everything and I can't figure out what the hell is causing it. When it's knocking it runs like a bat out of hell, when it's quiet it runs like a dog (Top speed of 45mph, if I can get it there)

YKYDAXJW you spend an entire day at a junkyard that has maybe 20 xj's in it just because you have to inspect every single one and make sure you don't want any parts off of them.
