For those of you that are following: I stopped at the autoparts store and told the guy at the counter that I think my map sensor may be faulty and mine has a three year warranty on it so he gave me a new one free. I threw it in before I left the parking lot and my rig now idles VERY rough, but accelerates baby smooth. It accelerates slowly, but smoothly (shifts smoother too.) I'm now thinking IAT because it would give similiar symptoms and when I unplug mine the Jeep runs no different. What do you guys think?
YKYDAXJW you have to ratchet strap your door on because the hinge snapped and it fell off. (Been there)

I like to have conversations like this in this thread because it keeps it alive and as long as everybody adds a "YKYDAXJW" in their post than we are still on topic.
Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor, cam sensor(ignition pickup), crank sensor, coil, air filter, oil change, coolant flush (Along with all new performance cooling system), fuel filter, seafoam ran through gas, oil, and vac lines before last oil change, ALL performed less than 10k miles ago minus the oil change that was done last month. My rig was in a bad accident and had to have a lot of that replaced because of it.
YKYDAXJW your neighbor just bought a k2 blazer with a stroked 454 (stroked to 496 now) in it and it gets better gas mileage than your Jeep. =( sad, sad day.....

Oh yea... wouldn't give my Jeep up for the world.
YKYDAXJW You dream of one day owning a vehicle that you work on because you want to, not because you have to, but you still won't get rid of your Jeep.

...when the estimate for all the mods/repairs/upgrades/etc are several times more than the XJ itself.
