When we see one on Craigslist for sale you look past the faded paint on the hood because you can paint it, the rusty looking wheels because you are going to change them out, the missing couple of pieces of body molding because you are going to take them off anyway. The only thing you see is its a 97 with a 4.0 with 180,000 for 1500 and you think its got real possiblities

...ykydaxj when your the guy in auto shop that always has to pay for more metal bc you used most of it fabing parts then selling them for your friend broncos and k5's and jimmys (no xj's at my school tho

YKYDAXJ when you drop $2661 to fix the transfer case, drive shaft, rear springs and 4 shocks before the winter. And you know you love your XJ, when you still wanna get larger tires, a lift and wider fenders!
