To each his own I guess
haha. Glad I wasn't the only one that thought this. 20" rims on a cherokee with 285/65 series tires will look RETARDED

Try climbing in a two door.

On an average day I'm getting in and out of my Jeep whose rocker panels are 34" off the ground to a vrt Jetta whose rocker panels are 1 1/4" off the ground. Screws me up so bad.

YKYDAXJW...

This happened in the local Autozone-

I was in line waiting for parts help. The guy in the line next to mine was getting a little LOUD advising the parts guy that was helping him that he has a "crown vic on 22's dog!" For some reason wanted to make sure that even more people were aware that he has "22's", because he repeated it a time or two.

He noticed I was looking at him (the way one will look at something weird or unusual - LOL) and mentioned something about how he had to work on his "crown vic" to get those big 22's in there.

I asked "So, you have a car with 22 inch wheels?"

He responded with "Hell yeah, 22 chrome!"

I replied "I have a Cherokee on 33's"

He didn't know what to say.

I've experienced this several times now, and the "I have a Cherokee on 33's never fails to stop them in their tracks!

You just have to go over it crooked. The Jetta also has more skid plate under it than my rig.

Had to do that with my '92 Camaro. Railroad tracks, speedbumps, whatever else...just hit it at an angle. Until it was totaled; then I started jumping railroad tracks. Now I wish I still had it so I could park on top of it.

YKYDAXJW you ride on your bumpstops instead of leaf springs.

You know you drive an XJ when your window washer fluid tube for the back wiper becomes detached and you insist on leaving it that way because it is more fun to spray it on the people behind you than it is to have a clean window to see out of

If you hadn't made any connection between the username "Rough Rimz" and the wheels I chose to put on my xj. I own a Wheel Repair Business, a mobile WHEEL repair business. My XJ represents my business as my office, shop and billboard. Although I could pretend like Illinois has some sort of crazy rock crawling and I live on a trail. I don't, this is my third XJ, I buy XJ's because I put 1500 miles a week on them rain, sleet or snow for business and both of my previous Jeeps were over 300K before I managed to destroy them.

So, truthfully you know you drive an XJ when you choose to spend $300 a week on gas instead of buying a Prius simply because you like driving an XJ.
