its legal and safer than gasoline. got propane is the only place that sells a kit for our XJ's since propane is uaualls used on carburated engines. they found a way to make ours work... its $900 bucks. most gas stations have a propane fill where im at since a lot of farm implements run on propane. but im making mine so that i can switch back to gasoline in a pinch if needed. i also set up my 4.7 to run propane more efficiently. so now i have to use high octane and mix with turbo blue to run perfect

How much does propane cost compared to gas. For example I get 17 mpg average currently. It costs me about 3.15 a gallon to do that 17 miles. How much would it cost to go the same distance on propane.

Ykydaxj when your seriously thinking of converting if it will save you money.

its an average of a 30% to 40% gain. thats IF you raise compression to better help the propane. just mill the head and port it and our fine.

When you can approximate the angle of a hill on the interstate by how much smoke is pouring into the cabin.

X2 lol. I've had my fair share of exhaust leaks and cracked manifolds, but that's just dangerous. Get that fixed before you pass out from carbon monoxide poisoning.

When you're separated from it, it rains, and you get the vehicle you're driving stuck screwing around because "My Jeep would have made it..."
