YKYDAXJW you hop in a work vehicle (stupid new Durango), and you laugh when you see that the Temp gauge reads "H" and "C" instead of temperature. Then everyone else looks at you like an imbecile when you try to explain, because their cars are the same way.

Exactly. I told them my Jeep runs at 210, and I know it. They started telling me it's dangerous, and that their cars don't run that hot. I called them liars and told them to climb under the hood with a thermometer to prove it.

YKYDAXJW there's no end to the stories an xj owner can tell, also probably why this site will always be around

When you made a christmas list consisting of a full width 44/9" 4.56 geared axles, a welder, long arm lift, 35s and SYE kit. Then tossed it when you realize nobody you know would buy you all that stuff.
Or when you subconsciously lift up on every door you open or close

MSJ was in a Christmas parade, and out all the Jeeps in our group that showed up, the guy with the classic car that needed a jump asked the off road buggy first, then me, the tallest XJ there.
Lost my place in the parade (his starter was shot) and had to drive separated from MSJ.
I was an awesome XJ parade of ONE!
I've noticed in parking lots everywhere, when someone needs a jump they seem to home in on my XJ now that it's lifted. I guess they see us and figure since our rigs look so tough we must know what we're doing. If they only knew...
