When your front bumper is so crappy that rear ending a pontiac grand am does nothing to the car but turns the front xj bumper into a steel pancake.

YKYDAXJW...

...you're convinced that the barely functional seat belt button is his way of saying "Let's drive some more!"
...your last car always went to the shop and your wife generally hates cars, but now you want to do oil changes together, a 3" lift seems reasonable, and are excited to fix the squeaky *&^%#$^! belt
...you've already spent more on parts and tools then repaying the loan to buy it in the first place
...you feel conflicted about winter because A) SNOW!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and B) No garage, can't work on him
...you drive your family up to the big Christmas dinner, and just roll your eyes at the "so bouncy, must not have any shocks" and "no leg room" comments
...you feel that every spot of rust is a personal offense and you feel sorry for your XJ like you would a person with a bad rash
...you can actually imagine what it sounds like without the U-joint rattle... in fact you know exactly what else makes what noises at what speeds
...you read 230 pages of this ridiculous thread, and either you agree with the posts or you are seriously concerned about that happening
...you were going to get ready to go to bed, but the bathroom's occupied so you turn the computer back on and login to CF

YKYDAXJ when you go to pick n pull to get a new driver seat, see the wrecked XJ it came out of and feel bad for it because 1) it was wrecked 2) it was a 2wd and 3) the interior looked like it had never been cleaned.

Heh i thought only mine did that. Also, on the subject of PS woes, you know you drive an XJ when all of your power steering fluid can leak out in 3 days, but up until a few weeks ago it never leaked a single drop in a year and a half.

Ykydaxjw you are worried you tranny coolant lines are leaking when they are covered in residue but you mechanic friends say they just "sweat" or "bleed"
