Alright here one for you guys to laugh at. Two days ago it rained real hard here and my door seals leaked all over my front seats. During the day yesterday it dropped into the low 20's and my seats are now frozen solid. That's how I know I drive an Xj haha

YKYDAXJW you destroy your 4" vice trying to press out u joints.

You should never press in or out u joints. You got lucky that you broke your vise and not the yoke on the shaft. Vises are cheap. Atleast you didn't get hurt too bad doing it.

The best way is to tap them in/out. You should be able to find some videos online... u joints are a common repair.

lol ill cap off the axle tube throw the hub and wheel on and put in 3WD and head on over... 2 tanks of gas should cover it right?
