...when if you ever don't feel like going to work, you can use your truck as an excuse and no one will question it.

Ykydaxjw heading to lunch you see an H2, and a Chevy Avalanche, and all of a sudden you lose your appetite.

True story.

Hey, the Avalanche is a nice truck. Would you be happy if he was driving a Honda Ridgeline?

You feel comfortable driving 45 in 4wd on a twisty road next to a river with 2" of ice covered snow, but doing 70 on the highway scares you.

And it's a unibody. Works for XJs, but I don't want a unibody pickup. Not to mention the "trunk" that you can't open if there's anything in the bed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Chevy boy at heart, and always will be, but the Avalanche just doesn't do anything for me. I'll take a Silverado any day. I don't want a pretty truck with leather and this and that, I'll take a workhorse that'll do whatever I ask and beg for more when I get done.

I wouldn't get an Avalanche, but my dad drives one. He has the old style with the plastic body molding, and it can take a solid beating. Oh..and even the new ones are still better than a Ridgeline

I'll take a Tundra when it comes to debating modern foreign pick ups. Thems some sexy automobiles right there.

If I was buying a "foreign" truck, it'd be a Tacoma...considering the Toyotas are made in Washington state.

But back on topic..?
