Realized this today

You know you own a XJ/ZJ when you are driving and every other XJ/ZJ you see on the side of the road or abandoned somewhere gets you thinking, man i'd love to grab that_____insert part here_____

I saw a jeep like mine and wanted to pull the hood and fenders and just leave them my faded ones....

Anyone else do the finger wave to other jeep drivers??? I've taught my girl that one, but I had to correct her the other day. " no no babe, we don't wave to Libertys or Patriots, those aren't actual jeeps"

I haven't seen the finger wave yet...I've used the head nod though.

But I've been driving the XJ for 3 months now, still a noob.

Head nod to you all! lol

I got mine to 3,200RPM in overdrive, figured roughly 100. Not going to lie it was scary, but my perpetually unbalanced MT/Rs balance back out around 80.

I raced a modified and lowered 1996 BMW 328i Coupe 5-speed manual.... I beat him to 50 then he flew by me haha... I thought I was beating an E36 M3 lmao till I talked to him(well honestly, when he was flooring it and I was pulling away is when I realized). I also beat a 2002 GMC Yukon and 2003 Ford Mustang V6(All three of us raced together, I always got the jump to about 1-2 cars away then stayed there, the Yukon barely lost out by like a bumper to the Mustang) and a 2003 Ford Explorer V6..... Yeah that's Oklahoma nw 39th street saturday night for you.... Everyone slow races lol.

If I had a 4wd xj I would not be so bored.

Cruising here on college is the same way. Only since its Colorado, its mostly trucks, and we cruise even if its snowing. Last weekend in 3 inches of snow i popped it in 4hi and raced two Evo 8's. I lost but it was fun

I think he was just amazed to see a box on wheels go that fast lol

Ykydaxjw... You keep talking yourself into more upgrades because its still cheaper than buying a new (capable) 4x4.

LOL, it's when you have one hand one the steering wheel( usually at 12 o'clock) and you pass another jeep and you just throw up your first two fingers without letting go of the wheel..

YKYDAXJW you have been waiting to get her back on the road after you warp the head, you finally got the new one on and get her started then later that night you take her out on the property and break the driveshaft and bend the drag link...
