Okay im at a point of feeling lost. I'm no master tech but I enjoy turning wrenches on my own vehicles and have quite a bit of knowledge. So I am bringing my 03 grand cherokee back to life, refresh, as I have been working on i,t it ran. I drove it to get tires after that I drove it home I changed the tierod ends, steering stabilizer, hub assemblies, brakes. I get in it after that and drove it. 2 days later I get in it it will not start at first then it fires up like normal. Drove it for an hr or so and parked it. I go back the next day and it just cranks and did this for 2 days IT WON'T BUST OFF. So I changed the coil the plugs, and just right now the crank sensor. Still just cranks and cranks but won't fire up. What could I be missing?
Don't take offense but you're missing proper diagnosis. Stop throwing parts at it. I'm almost 100% sure it's fuel related, not ignition. What's your fuel pressure like? do you even have any fuel pressure? There should be a test port on your fuel rail. Turn the key on for a few seconds then shut it off. Go under the hood and press that test port valve to see if fuel sprays out. This is an indication of fuel pressure but it still may not be enough. Rent a fuel pressure gauge and check it.
