offroad bumper ques
ok so i found a offroad bumper on craigslist im 99% gonna get. my question is that little tube or bottle thing whatever you wannt call it that is inside your stock bumper on the passanger side. does that get put in the offroad bumper like it is in the stock one? or does that just get eliminated? is it really needed for you jeep?

It is definitely needed. It is the vacuum canister that operates the heat/air controls as well as other functions.
I made a bracket to remount mine behind the bumper using 2 of the stock bumper mount locations. The pic is not perfect, but it gives a general idea of what I did.

Yep, at lot of people relocate it inside the engine compartment. You just have to reroute the vac lines, pick a spot to put it, and fab up some mounts. When I build my new front bumper I will fab a different mount so it is better protected from trail damage.
