Just wanted to say that now that I have figured out how to download new terrains and vehicles, and have figured out the controls of rigs of rods pritty good, it seems to be much better than the other game.

depends what your downloading

when i downloaded one of the XJ's, (squishyjeep.zip i believe it was) you leave it in zip format, and i went into C:\Program Files (x86)\Rigs of Rods\streams\ (would be c:\program files\rigs of rods\streams\ if it was an XP or other 32bit OS

then i dropped the squishyjeep.zip into the offroad-vehicles folder and it was ingame.

heres the search for the repository to find what you want to download
http://repository.rigsofrods.com/simplesearch/

heres a direct link to the xj i used

Yup thats how i did it too, but one thing i dont think he mentioned, when you start the game it first installs the new stuff youve downloaded and will leave out all the other files for some reason. So what you have to do is regenerate your cache first. This is how . . .

open the game like usual

click the advanced tab

click regen cache

then click save and play at the bottom and you should be good to to!
