Update:
Since a tech school is repairing it, they want to try to save all of the body parts instead of just swapping new ones on. It will take a little longer, but if they pull it off I'm another $300 to $500 ahead
They also want to fix some of the other dents and dings. Which means, I stand to come out of this with a next to new Jeep and a lot of money in my pocket that will, of course, be put to good use on things like bumpers... headliners... Wet Okole Seat Covers...
Winning.

UM..It may look like its okay, have you checked the unibody or anything else like? You may think the damage is only up front in the hood area but that's not true, the impact (energy) travels, through the whole truck.
Take the 3500 go buy a pretty one that didnt get 'jail-raped' by a deer.
Glad to hear youre okay though!!

Yeah, I lucked out there. My dad's buddy owns the local NAPA and he's trying to get into business with LinnTech, so he gave me the paint and materials for like $50. This whole project has been filled with epic win like that.

Deer Fingers! At first they tasted too sugary, but then i realized it was just the sweet taste of revenge. Whoever said it was a dish best served cold never tried deep frying it

For First year tech school students, they did a helluva good Job. I got her stuck in the yard last night and then we went riding county roads so she's good and dirty already. We're gonna have a 60 degree day Monday, Can't wait to shine her up for the first time!

Shame about your rig meeting up with a deer. Good to see it's ending well for your XJ with the buy back and all. Tell ya, I run 5 deer whistles on roof of all our jeeps and 3 in the grill of the wifes car. Lots and lots of deer here, see them everywhere, havn't hit one, yet. I swear from their reactions they hear the whistles. Cheap armor investment. Look forward the new future of your rig.
