Im sure the op realizes stock jeeps can go places most think they cant...but im sure he's more talking about the comparison...stock with car tires vs 6" lift and 33" Mud terrains...now come on there is now way stock with car tires could go half as many places as 6" lift with 33" mud terrains.

Stock ZJs flex amazingly well, the coil sprung rear helps a ton. If his sway bars were hooked up though that certainly would cause problems. I love my ZJ, and it sure as hell surprised me what it could do when I first started taking it out. But a stock ZJ on street tires is absolutely not gonna be able to keep up with your XJ.

-2" BB
-235/75 wrangler dura tracs
-no front sway bar
my buddy: 03ish wragler
-6" lift
-33x12.50's (new this summer)
-arbs front and rear
this summer:
id say about 2 or 3 places where he could go and i couldnt. now, the tires and lift allow for a more direct line from A to B, while my line is far more ziggy-zaggy to maneuver the trail. BUT, if i was a rough on mine as he is on his, then id say that really only ONCE this summer, was he able to get up it and not me.... not that i didnt try... but those lockers really gave him the advantage... i just end up being slower over the terrain and with a lot more spinning than him.
so thats my .02 on the matter...
