Default one wire alternator

Ok I posted several months ago about my charging problems. After all new positive and ground wires new external regulater and new computer only other option Ive been told is for a one wire alternator. I got a chevy one from autozone. My question is this has anyone else put one on a Cherokee. If so Ive heard you can notch the frame so it want it and go back in and weld a sheet of metal bent to resecure frame being solid or has anyone built or seen a bracket fabed up for one. Hope someone knows the answer lol please. Does anyone have any suggestions. Saw several people had looked at post but no one replies

Why all the fab?
Why not just slap a stock alternator on it and let the internal regulator in the PCM do it's job?

Actually tried a new alternator yesterday before I have all the work of putting on wire on there. I have spent about 6 months now trying different things and letting others have a shot at it. I even put an external regulator on it and didn't help. Actually tried 2 of them and it was put in by a professional but no luck. I have tried a new computer and still nothing. Ive replaced all the negative and positive wires on it and still doesn't charge. All we can figure out is when I sunk it there is some wire some where that got messed up and I am not going through pain of a new wiring harness so with a one wire I know it will charge just gonna be a pain in the *** to build bracket
