4.5 but i would go with RE and i know for a fact you cant put a body lift on a XJ and 32s i would say run BFG KM2s or Goodyear Mtrs (w/kevlar)

thats cause it is photoshopped. you cannot body lift an XJ. unless you cut the unibody frame rails off and then custom fab a legit frame for it and somehow attach the unibody to the frame. It'd be probably a good 40-80 hours of work for an experienced fabricator

You probably know better than I. I was just ballparking it. Either way it'd be a TON of work and not really worth the hassle if you ask me.

Default Newbie with lift questions

Hello everyone!

I had a Wrangler years ago but hated the lack of space and stiffness.
Just bought a '96 Cherokee Sport yesterday with 192K mi. and I'm changing the radiator (that's leaking) and the power steering pump, tomorrow.

The suspension is shut and have been doing a lot of reading on the forum and I have decided to go with a lift - Rubicon Express 3.5" with full set of leafs.

My questions about the lift are:
Besides shocks (I'd like to put Old Man Emu shocks - but what size for the 3.5" lift would be ideal?);
What else would I need to do for that size lift? I've been reading about changing the SYE, Tom Woods drive shaft, Adjustable Trac Bar - are all these necessary when you change the lift to only 3.5" ???

I appreciate your feedback!

Rob

As far as shocks just order a set for 3 -4 inches of lift you shouldn't need a adjustable track bar your driver side tire will be sticking out past your fender though. You can use a t case drop for driveline vibs. If you do go with sye best opition if you have money to burn you can get a front drineshaft from junkyard xj and have it shortend much cheaper than tom woods overpriced shaft although he does give you a cool sticker.
