Sorry for thread stealing but I too plan on getting a 4.5" lift, rusty's spring pack. I have an 88' so what would be some tips besides basically drench it in pb blaster for a week or two?

buy extra stock bolts.the ones for the rear leafs i needed. try breaking stuff loose when your bored. itll make it easier when it comes down to it. also make sure its washed reallllyyy well underneath otherwise youll be getting dirt in your eyes the whole time. maike sure all supplies are ready and start early. i started at like 6pm and stopped at around 4am cuz i had to get up for work at 7 then finished it the next day. its not all that bad its just the problems of breaking bolts and them being stuck in there. also use never seize lubricant stuff on all the bolts. u can throw away the rear sway bar if u want. most ppl dont run them. i have discos up front and no rear. its not too bad driving around without a front one though. just sketchy if in a bad sitiuation on the road where u have potential to swerve and lose control. but goodluck

Another thing that helped for me was having an extra jack to jack up one side of the front axle to help get the coil springs in place. You may want to replace bushings while you have everything apart. At 4.5" You MIGHT need a longer drop Pitman arm, although I am fine at 3". Did you get a new track bar? If not, then you can drill a new hole on the track bar mount, to have it positioned correctly for the lift. Do a search on how to do that.
