Just wanted to make a quick correction on my above post.

Seems the PlastiKote is sticking to everything except the bumper end caps (front and back) and the rubber strip on the roof rack rails. I am assuming due to flex. The fender flair I painted is definately no coming off. Also did my mirror housings. Holding up pretty good where I was able to get the wire wheel too. Not so well where I was not able to ruff it up.

So far very happy with the PlastiKote. I decided to keep my extra gallon (I bought 2, but only used 1) to maybe to a few extra coats in the spring.

Should definitely check out raptor line. Great u.v. protection extremely strong. The racing guys have been usin it as undercoating here for a while. Sprayer my 72 wagoneer with it and it looked amazing. Would post pics but i sold it a year after i painted it but it looked great still after a year.

For anyone currently reading this thread and thinking about what to use, i second the Rustoleum bedliner in the rattle cans.

I used it to coat from the rocker panels to the horizontal trim.
Been a few years now and its holding up great...just about in-destructable.
If i get around to it, might coat the bumpers with it too!
Dries fast too!

I used herculiner and did the entire jeep inside and out. Took 2 days to dry but it looks just as good as my friends that was rhino lined and at 1/10th the price

So what? Much rather people use an old thread, that means they SEARCHED, and didn't make another thread, along with the 27 other people who didn't search it...

I have used the Rustoleum on my lower doors, sliders, rear bumper...more than happy. Best part is, it's easy to touch up if need be.
