Default painting snowflake jeep rims?

i have the stock snowflake looking rims and want to paint them but haven't seen people with them.. is it too much of a pain in the rear to sand into the grooves? and if anyone has painted theirs please post so i can see what they will look like.. i was thinking of sanding mine down the best i can, applying a primer, and using the rustoleum bed liner paint in a can... what is your opinion?

thanks

I have mine painted black unfortunately I do not have a picture of them but it wasn't too hard just take your time sanding them so the paint sticks. I had to redo mine because I didn't sand them down the first time.

Bedliner is kinda heavy it might throw off the balance of the wheel,If you got the cash powder coating will last the longest.

Skip the bedliner stuff and Plasti-dip them. Better than paint and cheaper than powder coating.

Sanding and primer wouldn't stick to mine. Washed em good and lime green rustoleam in the can. Clear coat it after so it doesn't fade as fast.

I painted mine with rattle can bedliner, Duplicolor not Rustoleum though, I do like how they turned out but personally wouldn't do it again. Scuffing them with a red Scotch Brite was a PITA. Here's the only pic I really have of them right now as I took them off the Jeep when I got tires for the 16" wheels I'm running now, its also from before I changed the fenders and painted it lol.

I like it.

I used Krylon Fusion on a old set of alloy wheels. All I did for prep was wipe the wheels down with Windex & painted them.Still look good.

I'll find a pic later.
