No problem i never heard of plasti dip tell this forum and started looking in to it myself.Only close to the price of a plasti dip paint job would be maaco and they are known for crappy paint jobs that peal or look bad.

How does plasti-dip hold up to trail abuse (branches and such)?? That matte green from DYC looks really good on the XJ

Search YouTube "Plasti dip offroad". The paint on my XJ is starting to checker on the roof and hood. I plan on doing a matte black plastidip on the roof and hood.

Here is the worst spot on mine after a year, yes it's been out wheeling many times.

How thick did you coat it? I usally thin mine down a little before I pour it into my gun.

The new gallons are pre thinned, I do around 5 coats.

Off road
If you do it right it should take a beating and not peal off.I have heard road salt might make a dark color discolor a tiny bit,But just put a coat or two over it the color comes right back.
