If anyone watches Jay Leno's Garage on CNBC, they did an episode with this modded JK in it. I'd take it even with the flowery interior. Cosmetic, I can has new? LMAO

All good things eventually come to an end just let it be. I love the jeep name and I always will but I'm never buying anything new from them ever. The only capable vehicle they produce these days is the JK and it's priced way to high for my blood. What really pisses me off though is how fiat is using the roots of the old jeeps to market their new ***** wagons. If you want to protest just don't buy their new jeeps. It's unfortunate how well they are doing though with this soccer mom transformation. It's actually going well for them.

Failure in attempts to please the XJ crowd. Sure it kindof resembles a boxy xj, but with full IFS and IRS and very limited aftermarket support. If i needed a city commuter, i would get one.

I'm not understanding...it was made for 4 years, has been discontinued for nearly 6 years now. How is that "going strong"? I wasn't aware of the AWD, I know 2wd/4wd were available. And not sure how it could be a predessesor to the GC, which was around more than a decade before the Commander.

Support is there, and slowly growing, but it just isn't possible to have something as customizable as older cars with modern unibody cars.
For what it is, an awd with a small engine, IF you get the FDII its pretty capable off road. but yeah, its missing a low range. If it had an actually 2 speed transfer case, I think it would have had a much higher adoption rate, and acceptance.
