My setup (which I posted a pic of at the top of the page) is just a 3 inch lift, 30/8.25 JK moabs (think they are 4.75 inch back spacing, and the adapters which give about an inch and a quarter a side extra width, 35x12.50x17s. Feels pretty stable..but I will be taking it to 4.5" very soon. Not the lowest COG but definately the lowest ive ever had in my last 3 rigs.

Guess whats in the rear?
I bought the jeep for a good price..only 90k miles on it.. the PO bought it, did a 4wd conversion..then decided itd be cool to cut the front fenders, leave the back fenders, add 3 inch spacers up front, put in an IRO double sheer trac bar??? and put 3 inch blocks in the rear.
I just drive er to and from work till I get my 3 link on and my RE leafs out back.

I've read ktms thread quite a few times (very appreciative that he wrote it) and I'm pretty sure I comprehend what he's saying.I've tried to build my Jeep with a low height and wide footprint. The last run I was on the Jeep always felt stable, even when I was staring at the ground in nasty v notches, and where guys were having issues flopping I drove through without issue. In the future I'd like to step up to larger tires, but I have so much more to do before I can make the leap. For now though, she works pretty well.
