Is there a strike on plows? Why'd they even let it get that much before plowing?

So we don't get snow here in the desert, but there is plenty just a few hours away. However, whenever we go to the snow I typically take my truck. This was last May and there was just a little bit left still.

My beloved 87 on a 3 inch lift with 31s. On Thursday it was amazing on Sunday I totaled it.... not my fault I had great traction in the 1 foot of snow but the dodge challenger I destroyed couldn't even drive away.... I drove my jeep to school the next morning... hahahah jeeps are beastt!

I'm from Alaska and have lived here all my life. So I will tell you that my xj with 5 in lift 31's you can push snow up to and past your headlights. These xjs rule the roads and trails here. Last year we had 17 feet of snow fall in two weeks and no problems getting around. Here is a pic of mine in Oct
