Hey I understand if you want to restore or preserve and keep it lookin like showroom quality, but this was not the case. It was nothin close with flat back paint and lookin like a beater with no attention to detail. There is an ole Wrangler near by that is parked under a shed that is always shinny that is only driven on sunny days. I wouldn’t even think about askin him to go off of the blacktop. There are 2 Rubicons owned by women that don’t even know what lockers are by the way and have, I doubt, been in 4 wheel drive except for some snow days. If they only knew what their Jeeps are capable of I think they would love to go off roadin.
True!

I'm confused a lift is more often than not used to achieve a more aggressive look, or tougher as you say. For aesthetics as well....your ok with that when most people wont use the lift for offroading, but any other accessories for looks you cant respect? Even though the lift and tires were just for looks too and your ok with that?....you want your vehicle to look like a badass offroader but not actually use it offroad? Thats ok I'll still conpliment you on it..if you ever did use it offroad, at least youll have some accessories to aide you in the fun or dig you out when you screw up and get stuck and realize why you dont offroad in the first place lol

eh, a boat was meant to be used in water...regardless of what we may think, jeeps/ the rubicon was meant first and foremost to be used on pavement, regardless of the standard features like lockers.
but i get the notion

Well c’mon in and we’ll go trail ridin. Guess I’ll watch you do some of the extend stuff as I’m still got a ways to go on my rig and I’m financially embarrassed right now.

Lots of mall crawlers here too, and nearly all of them in JKs. There is one kid with an XJ, and that one bothers me more than all of the JKs combined for some reason. I guess it's because I have hope for the JKs--that future generations of used JK owners will make use of them.
