Default Plasti-Dip...

First time using this stuff just found out about it about a week ago.

Plasti-Dip...-image-1110564485.jpg

Went and bought some from ACE hardware ($7.99 a can) masking tape ($2.99 a roll) I bought this over trim black because there are some other things I want to use it on in the house and on the XJ. I originally just wanted to my trim but now I want to do my logos and flares, maybe some other things who knows it pretty cheap stuff lol. Anyways here's some before and after shots the before is the pass. side because I forgot to take pix before I started haha. So lemme no comments, questions, also don't use masking tape it left the adhesive residue on the paint. Next thing I'm gonna buy is some actual painters tape.

Haven't used the aerosol but the actual dip peels like crazy once a nick in it is started. I've used it for all sorts of stuff though. Love it!

Ya it was fun to do and I like that if I mess up I can peel it off. Not that I intend on messing up but just in case lol. And I didn't figure it would be a permit any solution but hey for 5-8 bucks a can to have some fun and make some **** look nice while ur at it. I'm down! I'll post more pics in the thread the more I do. Even not XJ related.

On impalaforums.com, there are a ton of people that have used this on their wheels and trim. Some of them put it on their wheels during the winter to protect the wheels from salt. Then I guess they can peel it off pretty easily in Spring.

Plastic dip is amazing, ive used it on my xj logos and on my friends rims, bumpers and hood. ( makes a great cover shield for roadtrips to car shows. no rock chips. )
