Trails mostly... and sand is fun, though I can do without mud. Mostly because I don't feel like cleaning it off afterwards.
And snow is great. Despite everyone in New Jersey having grown up with snow, nobody seems to understand how to drive in it, so at the slightest flurry I used to get calls for rides. During "Snowmageddon" maybe two years back, I remember people stopping their cars in the middle of the highway. There were some people with Jeeps and big trucks going around giving the stuck people rides home, and I really wished that I still had a truck then. Of course, now that I have the Jeep, I'm sure it'll never snow again.

Overlanding is my favorite with trails along the way.

deep wooded trails with hills, some mudd and the occasional creek crossing.
I love the winter snow but gotta stay outta the bigger hills in the white stuff as my Cherokee is also a DD and the "AT's" aint mean enough to get me thru the hard stuff.

Technical trails with a mix of all the above. I don't care for running around in wide open areas. I like the idea of "what's this trail going to throw at us next, and how are we going to get all these vehicles through it."
