I live in a very rust free area, I'm in a smaller city so they only use sand on the roads and the climate is very dry here. Yet when i clean my XJ i go all out, scrub it with a car brush and soap, i even bleach the letters on the tires
I would even polish it, but the paints already shot so there's no point really. This thing is my DD so i still want it to look nice, but once i get another car as a daily driver that's gonna change.
