It will depend on your skillset, but judging by that good looking bumper, I'd say you should be just fine taking on the project. Besides, there is usually someone on here that can give some guidance when needed.

Have fun with the new XJ....and post pictures of the work you do.

It's driveable and clean! Clean took longer than off jack stands.

It has a new bumper, 6.5 inch lift, and some lights but I haven't gotten any good pictures with those yet. So here's a good oldie of my Black 1999 XJ at the lake.

Shes not as clean as Id like, got a little bit of redecorating from the PO on the right front corner and a few other niggles, but with 20 years and a quarter mil on the clock, she aint bad

Playing at an abandoned skate park. I could get up to the coping, but the ebrake didn't want to keep her there. Not bad for 2wd & 4cyl.

Wow, those tires must make some serious noise on the roads.....though I imagine you don't drive it on the roads much...LOL!! Looks like a lot of fun!
