Nope, 5.0 came out of a mustang gt, and yeah its showing that's its more difficult. The motor that came out was a 2.5 and it's going in a blazer. I have read tons about the swap into wranglers, and i've thought about dropping it in my wrangler but it is almost unheard of to have it in a xj. I have the motor ready just waiting on a few more bolt ons, and then its time to put my fab skills to the test on the motor mounts. This swap has quite a few expensive catches and i've learned alot about my xj from it. Oh and I am aware of the axle issue guys, plan on upgrading axles once the swap is done.

Most of us know how you make a small fortune modifying and selling cars... Start with a large fortune. But if you pull it off, my hats off to you.

... You sure are frustrating.
What do you find to be a reasonable offer?

Given what I paid for mine (and it had a 350 already swapped in) unless you do more mods than just a lift, V-8 and axles, you're going to be lucky to get $3000 or so. especially given the market for XJ's. I know your labor is valuable and parts aren't cheap, but you just don't get out of it what you put in unless you got everything for a steal to start with.
Plus there are built XJ's all over the place for sale for really good prices. Just ask Andy.
