I give it a pat on the hood when I walk by it in the garage, sort of like a huge dog.

what the hell?! Have you been following me? lol I do that and talk to her... always have to make sure that her trans ( it's a manual ) has been sitting in neutral while idling for no less then three minutes or she doesn't like to shift through the gears. I have to say good night to her too... when i go out for my last cigarette of the day before bed I say good night to her. There are dozens more too.

I've got one helluva list haha.

before I started college I would wash and wax it every other weekend.

I always park at the end of a row so I only have one person next to me.

I give the ol' girl 30 seconds to warm up before I put her in gear

Even tho she's an automatic I let my foot off the gas while shifting to reduce wear on the transmission.

I wouldn't do that unless she dies in a jy.... You'll get a hefty fine.

I am sure I have a few others from this list, but I'm not going to confess to nothing more. lol
That is a "safety" feature. They go off after a few minutes.

This.

I gave Mr. Green Jeans a wash the other day and asked him if that felt any better? All that road salt looked itchy

Get the model number of your remote start system from the brain and google that along with the term installation manual. Its a feature that can be changed, most programming sequences involve a key cycle along with pressing of the valet button. Easy stuff.
