Yes and no. It's a lot more then that. Aperature, Iso, White balance, ND filter.... I usually shoot in RAW so that I can pre procces it before it's exported into a jpg.

I do a bit of camera play myself, not digital though. So I only get shutter speed and neat developing tricks to mess with, was thinking of getting into the digital scene. So far the only digital camera I have is on my blackberry

1 word. Canon.

I'm about to sell my 40D and PRO-1 and either upgrade my 1D S Mark III or just get a really nice IS L Zoom lense.

And now for the GOOD pics..

This is about a 20 minute exposure when I live in Nevada. It's a ghost town and was in the movie "The Island"

I took this at my friends wedding. I used a wireless remote to take it with my EOS-1D Mark III

My daughter....That was last year. She was 2 years old...

Inner Harbor. NO EDITING AT ALL. Just combining of images results in this. Also known as HDR.

You can use any program that handles images. and bracket images. You take 5-15 shots changing the exposure of each and then merge them. NO EDITING.

Oh, well first you have to shoot in RAW. If you have a low end camera, you can't. Second, my images have no editing / tricks to them. How you seem them is EXACTLY how they were shot. The people that edit with photoshop can't shoot pics to save their life. That's how I see it. There are times when you might need it for certain things, but when they flat out over edit the **** outta their shots to get the "OOOHHHHH WOW" they can suck my nuts.....

If you can't shoot in RAW, then look at getting a Canon Rebel XT, XTi etc. $400 on Ebay.
